Development Status & Update History

The work plan for the 6 months ahead includes the following milestones and deliverables:

  • (months 1-2) : design, fabricate, assemble, and test new open hardware electronics with improved capabilities for the SDAD. In particular 16-bit DAQ capabilities and extreme low power consumption at around 400nA. Document it with high-resolution photos and video recordings made available every day on social media, namely on Twitter and Linkedin, and during the execution of this work plan.
  • (months 2-3) : design, fabricate, assemble, and test new open hardware electronics with improved capabilities for the SDAD. In particular 24-bit DAQ capabilities and extreme low power consumption at around 400nA. Document it with high-resolution photos and video recordings made available every day on social media, namely on Twitter and Linkedin, and during the execution of this work plan.
  • (months 3-5) : design, fabricate, assemble, and test a new module with built-in "Unique Data Fingerprint Identification" UDFID using Espressif Systems ESP32-C3 microcontroller, a module made to expedite and facilitate the design and deployment of smart hardware electronics capable of delivering validated sensor data measurements using UDFID. Document it with high-resolution photos and video recordings made available every day on social media, namely on Twitter and Linkedin, and during the execution of this work plan.
  • (months 5-6) : Finish the work-in-progress writing of what is intended to be a future publication for a Scientific Journal. Titled "Real-time validation of Experimental Data Origins: A Swarm of DAQ Devices Able to Deliver Unique Experimental Data using Blockchain-like Fingerprint ID to a Data Repository". The Link to the document hosted in the project's repository on GitHub is the one below:https://tinyurl.com/ValidationDataOriginseveryone is able to follow the writing of the document as it happens every day during the execution of this work plan. Upon completion and at the end, it will be sent to a scientific journal for peer review, within the scope of the scientific knowledge where this project is inserted.

The open hardware electronics prototyped during this project's duration and timeline will be put on sale as MVP at a fair price with the intent to fund further this project's expenses towards research and deployment of open hardware and open source code solutions capable of delivering validated sensor data measurements using UDFID.

The author of this project will be actively looking to promote this project at scientific conferences, online workshops, and Exposition Events:- to this date, it is scheduled to visit TechEx's IoT Tech Expo Europe 2024 at RAI, Amsterdam on 1-2 October 2024other events will be added over the course of 6 months and until completion of the milestones stated above.
