Would you want us to go ahead and develop suggestions for the logo design or first await feedback from the dev community whether a new logo is wanted?

I'm interested in this, either contributing (though there are probably better designers than me interested) or just as someone who'd like to see a more beautiful logo.

Specifically, I'd like to see something with a square or close-to-square aspect ratio.

In the meantime, I guess the favicon could be the de-facto logo when a square logo is needed?
