For issue #1499 I'm planning to use the existing "convert to sloeber project" to convert old sloeber projects to new sloeber projects.
Eventhough the existing implementation of "convert to Sloeber project" does the job it does not take into account the extra compile parameters.
I'm using this issue to add that functionality
