I'm wondering whether we should define
children
asReact.ReactNode

never receives anything other thanReactElement
. If we would widenchildren
toReactNode
, the implementation ofwrapper
would have to account for types that it never actually receives.This is problematic if you want to apply methods to
children
in the implementation ofwrapper
that require a singleReactElement
such asReact.cloneElement

ReactNode
