This feels pretty hacky, but seems useful in some cases, so fine for adding. 👍

He he, yeah. I found it's pretty hard to work on a Sphinx extension that depends on a backend, with hardcoded URLs and CORS 😅 . I decided to document these things here mainly because these tricks are hard to remember, but in day-to-day development, they save a lot of time.
