You can, however, rename a project to match the name of a deleted project. This results in two projects with the same name, but different URLs. |
Also, deleted projects are still accessible via URL. |
Is there any problem with just deleting all database entries for deleted projects? (Possibly adding some big warning to the user that everything will be deleted if he deletes the project.) |
Yea, think that's what we'll end up doing. I'll try and do this tomorrow. |
This should be a separate tool as well, but maybe when someone deletes a project that is not linked to an external repository (along with the warning), offer to allow them to download a gzipped (or other) copy of their documentation. |
Fixed here: wapcaplet/readthedocs.org@524634e @ojiisan: I like your suggestion too--I created a new issue for it: #16 |
Whoops--it's also important to remove the repository checkout. Fixed here: wapcaplet/readthedocs.org@94e5f82 |
This was fixed as well. |
Hello. I think I am encountering this problem with my project (dnald, user jvb). I had previously created it using only the web interface so I deleted it in order to add it backed by a bitbucket repository. Now the build is failing with: Built: March 20, 2012. 11:28 a.m. |
Yea, we still have a bug where changing repos doesn't work correctly Cheers, On Tue, Mar 20, 2012 at 9:29 AM, Jonathan Blakes <

Hi, I had a reviewproscraping private repo in our account reviewpro. Thanks a lot |
I was wrong. The first time I tried to create it again, it was supposed to work, but it leaded me to a 404 page. |
