Pandas version checks

  • I have checked that the issue still exists on the latest versions of the docs on main here

Location of the documentation

https://pandas.pydata.org/docs/dev/whatsnew/v2.1.0.html

Documentation problem

Currently says:
"PyArrow will become a required dependency of pandas starting with pandas 3.0. This decision was made based on PDEP 12."

The link to the PDEP is correct, but the text is wrong. It should say [PDEP 10]

Suggested fix for documentation

The link to the PDEP is correct, but the text is wrong. It should say [PDEP 10]
