Release files for a patched version of Arduino Serial Plotter app, which has a dropdown to pick how many datapoints will be shown on the plotter app.
Close your Arduino IDE, replace the contents of resources/app/lib/backend/resources/arduino-serial-plotter-webapp with the extracted files, and restart.
