When unit testing my application that leverages GitPython (1.0.1) with Python 3.5.1, I see this PendingDeprecationWarning:

generator 'SymbolicReference._iter_packed_refs' raised StopIteration for sha, rela_path in cls._iter_packed_refs(repo):

This is described in PEP 0479 -- Change StopIteration handling inside generators.
