Task 3.9.1 has an issue with the PATH environment variable on Windows (it is not correctly expanded in subcommands and go fails to find gcc).

Motivation
Task 3.9.1 has an issue with the PATH environment variable on Windows: it is not correctly expanded in subcommands and go fails to find gcc.
This is causing failures on our CI.
