The CLA check has been hanging on all PRs to repos under the arduino organization over the last few days. I tried manually retriggering the check, which usually resolves the hang, but it hasn't helped with any of the recent PRs.

I reported the problem to IT (ITM-2035 in the internal tracker). Until it is resolved, the workaround will be for a repository admin to perform the following procedure:

⚠ This should only be done for PRs from Arduino employees, or PRs from the community if you have manually verified that the contributor has signed the CLA.

  1. Open the "Settings" page for the repository.
  2. Click the "Disable branch protection rules" button.
  3. If the PR's page is already open, reload the page.
The previously disabled "Merge pull request" button will now be enabled.
  4. Merge the PR as usual.
  5. Open the "Settings" page for the repository.
  6. Click the "Enable branch protection rules" button.
