Original description

What change would like to see?

That should allow it to work on both the 328 and 168, because it's different than the baud rates used by their bootloaders. That will mean they don't get stuck in the bootloader mode.

Why?

Would this cause any incompatibilities with previous versions? If so, how
can these be mitigated?

If we change the Arduino as ISP menu item / programmers.txt entry too, it should be fine.
