According to the data sheet the HTS221 can be "rebooted". This is a convenient way if you change something (e.g. calibration parameters) and then realise you want to restore the old condition.

Calibration data are in fact written to a temporary volatile memory, which is refreshed after each power on or reset.

I volunteer to provide a code proposal.
