Has anyone looked at this? I've come across the same situation with Firefox and IE9. To clarify what happens:
when you select a value, say "a", and then mouse over another option (but not select it), then, when the timeout occurs, the selected value becomes highlighted, and not the one that the mouse is actually hovering over.

I even get into situations with the fiddle above, where I select the value "c" and the browser shows "a" as the selected value in the box itself. This is going to be a showstopper for me.

This behavior does not occur on Chrome.

I'm ignoring it for now - hoping it will get fixed. But down the road, this is really going to be a problem, because the type of systems for which I intend to use angular will make use of fairly frequent/subsecond timeouts.

+1 For fixing this. I was just about to submit it due to big problems in IE9 and Firefox with this. We have frequent timouts in our system, which makes it just about impossible to select anything in a (http://jsfiddle.net/rasmusvhansen/cV3kH/1/) pretty much the same as the first jsfiddle but with 20ms timeout just to show how unusable it is in IE9

Just tested in IE10, and it is also an issue there. So it seems to be a problem in:

• IOS
• IE - all version
• Firefox

As part of our effort to clean out old issues, this issue is being automatically closed since it has been inactivite for over two months.

Please try the newest versions of Angular (1.0.8 and 1.2.0-rc.1), and if the issue persists, comment below so we can discuss it.

Hello, this problem still persists with angular 1.2.0rc3 and Firefox 24 (and 25).
In Chrome 30 and IE11 it works fine.
