BNO08x to Jetson? Remote I/O error.

Hello I am reaching out to see if it is possible to utilize this library on a Jetson Orin Nano. I currently have the bno08x wired up and library installed, after some significant troubleshooting with pins and jetson specific settings, I was able to establish a connection to the IMU but am getting a Remote I/O error when trying the basic example of enable accelerometer reports. I am very new to the I2C world and working with these types of devices so it is entirely possible I am doing something wrong, but I wanted to check and see if this type of setup to Jetson devices has been tested.

This is what im getting out:
