usage with gulp

Using webpack with gulp is as easy as using the node.js API.

Normal compilation

gulp.task("webpack", function(callback) {
	// run webpack
	webpack({

Use with gulp-webpack

gulp-webpack is a plugin that streams assets from webpack allowing a more idiomatic gulp way of building with webpack. First install with npm install gulp-webpack and then use as follows:

var gulp = require('gulp');
var webpack = require('gulp-webpack');
gulp.task("webpack", function() {
	return gulp.src('src/entry.js')
		.pipe(webpack({ /* webpack configuration */ }))
		.pipe(gulp.dest('dist/'));
});

webpack-dev-server

Don't be too lazy to integrate the webpack-dev-server into your development process. It's an important tool for productivity.
