What problem does this feature solve?

WrapperArray.wrappers and WrapperArray.length are read-only in the type definition.
WrapperArray.wrappers and WrapperArray.length are not read-only.

What does the proposed API look like?

WrapperArray.wrappers and WrapperArray.length are read-only.
