What problem does this feature solve?

When I push the button to other link,or goback.I want to know status then to do someting.But API don't tell me.How to do？ Or,Can you provide an API to exposed URL‘s stack in future？

What does the proposed API look like?

this.$router.stack //['/a','/b','/c']
