RUX/LUX have 3000 points which is almost equal to 3 challenges with $1300 / $1000 placements. Also, some of the Challenges with less TCO points (Compared to RUX/LUX) are much harder in terms of understanding the problem, and design the experience for it. Sometimes it takes more time / effort too.
I think we could down the LUX RUX challenges TCO points a little to justify the efforts the designers put in the other challenges.

@Ravijune part of the RUX/LUX is to drive more participation (because it is for an event/showcasing the community design skills in "rapid design" process.

Not sure I agree here - if we have a full list of challenges (and things are picking up) we need the attention that RUX (and big points) brings.

That being said - we are looking at other ways to boost TCO points
