Scoverage is not supported by pants, the only coverage tools used by pants being Jacoco and Cobertura.
Thus, a Scoverage plugin for pants would be very interesting.
This issue refers to this Pants issue

Support for scoverage in pants has been added here pantsbuild/pants#8064. However, it is using the Twitter fork. I think once 2.0 gets released it'd be a good goal to see if we can migrated any tools that are using the Twitter fork back to the main scoverage.
