v0.8-beta: Gitolite v2 incompatibility?

I just spotted a potential problem with the new v0.8-beta version of the plugin and gitolite v2.

When you determine the gitolite_repository_count you call the gitolite command (see
gitolite_wrapper.rb#L195) which is not available in gitolite v2.

I only found it because it shows an error on the Config Test page (Error : RedmineGitolite::GitHosting::GitHostingException) but have not spotted any other problems so far. Is this value even needed at all or can it simply be removed?

This value is only used in Redmine Git Hosting admin to display the number of repositories present in Gitolite.
