command '*' not found

Having a hard time to get vscode-arduino working.
MacOSX ElCapitan 10.11.6
I have VSC Version 1.20.1 (1.20.1) installed
ArduinoIDE 1.8.5
Open a arduino sketch Folder with VSC and
each time i try a a command: arduino..... from the command palette I get the error command not found.
Guess it's a setup problem but i couldn't find anything here or in web.
How should i proceed?
