Serial console strips beginning whitespace chars

Formatted output is not possible, the serial console in VS Code strips out all initial whitespace chars.

Arduino extension: 0.4.6.

This issue is fixed in main by the PRs linked above, and the fix will be included in the next release of vscode-arduino.
