It is a awesome game. The feature of bold and line height could be added after we finish the next releasing which is cocos2d-html5 v3.0 alpha in Mar.. However, the feature of justify will be more complex and expensive. Currently, I am not sure whether we could find a better implementation or not. We are so happy that you like Cocos2d-html5 framework, :) |
Thank you very much for so quick answer. Looking forward to hear from you about next realeases and possible improvements ;) |
Hi, I notice a comment here that the feature would be added after March. Bold and line height adjustment features in text are features that are provided by default in other engines as they are extremely useful. It would be great to have them in. |
Hello, |
I'm so sorry. Because we're busy for releasing V3.0 stable, I forgot to add this feature to our issue system. We'll implement these feature on Web soon, I'll send the notice to you if we have finished. @tkowalski , @hsdk123 Bests |
Hello !
We are company that is creating some great browser games. Currently we are developing animal shelter game in cocos2d. Game depends on quests and events that are presented to players mainly by text descriptions. We really misses some major text properties as bold, justify and line height. Is it possible to make these features to the labels in near future ? You can check the game on http://garmory.eu/index/games#Petsbury. As the "thank you" for these addons we can provide some materials about the game then you can have great example that not only small games can be done in cocos and some more - add cocos2d logo to our project in some places to have everybody know that cocos is so great framework. (sorry for the contact on github but as a programmer this is the right way for me and probably these improvements of cc.label can be interesting for others).
