Describe the bug
when I tick i.e. "Show verbose output" it does not reflect during compilation

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to 'Preferences'
  2. Click on 'Show verbose output during...'
  3. Start compilation
  4. See error

Expected behavior
Verbose output
