Describe the bug
Auto Format (ctrl-T) doesn't seem to do anything (unlike the non-pro IDE).

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to '...'
  2. Click on 'Tools/Auto Format'
  3. Scroll down to '....'
  4. See error

Expected behavior
Code to be formatted.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: [Win 10 Home 64 bit]
  • Version: [Version 10.0.19041 Build 19041; Arduino Pro 0.1.3 20201215]

we have been heavily reworking the Language Server feature and introduced this bug.
We'll address it when the team is back from the holidays :)

Thanks so much for reporting this @NoSmoke999!

I see we have another issue report about the same problem at #337.

It's best to have only a single issue per subject so we can consolidate all relevant discussion to one place. Even though yours came first, there has been slightly more and recent activity on the other so I'll go ahead and close this in favor of the other.

If you end up with additional information to share, feel free to comment in the other thread.

Does this problem really still exist nearly a year later? I don't see the problem with beta 11, but I do with beta 12.
