Splash Logo Is awesome. Nice clean look. It however covers a permission window. Making things quite inconvenient.

Thanks so much for your report @Tearran. I have also been frustrated by the interference between the IDE splash screen and the "Windows Defender Firewall" dialog. The placement and transparency of the splash image allows me to see the 🛡️ Allow access button, but not click it:

Thanks also to @Logicer16 for pointing out the previous issue #324!

It's best to have only a single issue per subject so we can consolidate all relevant discussion to one place, so I'll go ahead and close this in favor of the other. I'm going to leave a note about this in the other because I think it's a notable manifestation of the general issue of the always on top splash screen as reported at #324.

If you end up with additional information to share, feel free to comment in the other thread.
