Some syntax UNDECLARED INDENTIFIER
Similar to: #291 and archived repo: arduino/arduino-pro-ide#244

Reproduce this bug

  1. chage board to STM32
  2. IDE show insues UNDECLARED INDENTIFIER

Expected
Even with this syntax bug it compiles and uploads correctly, I tested in ide 1.x this does not occur.

Thanks for taking the time to submit an issue @utherbone .

I see we already have a prior issue report about this at #220.

It's best to have only a single issue per subject so we can consolidate all relevant discussion to one place, so I'll go ahead and close this in favor of the other.

If you end up with additional information to share, feel free to comment in the other thread.
