Describe the problem

Every time I restart the IDE, the settings are back to manual proxy configuration.

To reproduce

I set the network settings to manual on version 2.0.4, upgraded to 2.1.0 and now I cannot set them back to automatic any more.

Expected behavior

settings should be stored and remembered between program starts

Arduino IDE version

2.1.0

Operating system

Linux

Operating system version

LM 20

Additional context

appimage version of the linux distributable.

and now I cannot set them back to automatic any more.

This is a known issue, and we are tracking it under arduino/arduino-cli#1677.

Please follow the steps from here, and let us know if it has fixed the problem on your side.
