Original description

What change would like to see?
Preference to allow autostart of Serial Monitor on finish of uploading a sketch
Why?
Time saving. Saves having to restart Serial Monitor each time a sketch is amended. As a beginner I find this reallt frustrating.
Would this cause any incompatibilities with previous versions? If so, how
can these be mitigated? Don't think so
