Can you elaborate? Which osx? Which IDE? Which board? An original Arduino board? |
Have you tried latest beta IDE (currenlty 1.5.4) ? |
Thanks for the reply. Multiple people have complained on that thread. It looks like many combinations of IDE, OSX version, and boards have the problem, but I will try latest versions again. Can I get back to you? DPHarris iPhone On 2013-10-30, at 23:38, Federico Fissore [email protected] wrote:

Sure, just keep the conversation on github |
I have had the similar issues as well. This comment describes it pretty well: http://forum.arduino.cc//index.php?topic=123901.msg1094268#msg1094268 and I am running Mac OS X 10.8.5 with the newest Arduino IDE build from the git source. |
Can this be related to RXTX? Can you give a spin to nightly the builds linked here? |
I have used the IDE from the ide-1.5.x-jssc branch lately and I haven't had any issues so far. |
JSSC has been released wih 1.5.6, this problem should be fixed now. |
No This has been a problem from day 1 with Arduino Zero target and ArduinoIDE (now 1.6.9) and OS X (now running V 10.11.15). I have had multiple updates to the toolchain, IDE, and OS X - Uploading to Arduino Zero crashes OS X on a regular basis (at least 4 times tonight).... WFT? Can we get a stable version of OS X? |
OSX crashes after several uploads. See: http://forum.arduino.cc//index.php?PHPSESSID=4eh4vteg9hlkuivgs6n66iq932&topic=123901.0
