Follow on to #905

Filing a ticket here to track the work of a release (mostly so others can follow along)

Target Release Date: Approximately 2023-08-23

@alamb, would it be possible to have releases on git as well? I think the need to move to the CHANGELOG, instead of just going to the release, is a little contraintuitive.

Maybe just copying the changelog for that release. What do you think?

Hi @AugustoFKL - what do you mean by "have releases on git as well" ?

Part of the current release process makes tags for each specific release, like: https://github.com/sqlparser-rs/sqlparser-rs/releases/tag/v0.36.1 -- does that help your usecase?
