This test:

angular.js/test/AngularSpec.js

Line 1789 in 3cf4eed

if (protocol === 'ms-browser-extension:') {

is flakey on Edge 17 - which is worrying, because on Edge 15 / 16 we specifically created a test that tests Edge "fails" for this behavior, and now sometimes it works.
