ui-view added couple of time when transitioning between states

Hi,

When using long running transition animations (like 10s) and the user changes to a new route (eg. back and forth history navigation) multiple ui-views get added.

Normal there are 2 but it can go up to 8 or so. Each showing the animations which renders the screen useless.
Problem isn't really there with 400ms transitions but I was wondering if this is a bug and what a good mitigation would be to prevent too many ui-views getting added.

Looking at #2579 and trying with an older version of ui-router the issue was resolved
