I'm trying to implement custom icons.
Did you intend to use the url or thumbnail variables for this?

Right now they don't seem to do anything...

Yeah that one i forgot. I'll look into it.

The url and thumbnail parameters are for displaying an info window for a marker; a feature I'm currently working on. I'll add a new parameter iconUrl to specify a custom marker icon from within the directive.
